The Future Of Rock And Roll hit the airwaves on Labor Day weekend back in 1983. With a milestone like this, we'd be crazy not to commemorate it with something special.
The WOXY crew has teamed up with our friends at Wire & Twine once again to bring you the official 25th Anniversary shirt. This five color, limited edition shirt is hand printed on a cream colored American Apparel shirt in both men's and women's sizes. Like previous WOXY shirts, we are doing a pre-order. Last day to order is Friday, Dec.5th. We will begin printing the week of Dec 8th and begin shipping at the end of the week.
As a special treat for anyone who orders an additional two shirts from Wire & Twine (which dont' have to be the 25th Anniversary shirt) you will receive a FREE a 12" record from the WOXY archives. These pieces of history once lined the walls of the original studio in Oxford, OH. Much of the vinyl has the date stamp stickers indicating when the album was played and includes all the wear and tear from the good old days of analogue. A true treat for any WOXY fan. Why do a pre-order?
There are a few reasons.
- Everyone who wants one gets one. No one likes it when they find something cool and it's sold out.
- The right fit. A pre-order allows us more flexibility to order both men's and women's cuts.
- Costs. By knowing exactly how many shirts to order, we won't be sitting on boxes of unsold shirts (which would mean inflating the price to cover said shirts.)
